the greek yogurt would be a great substitute, almost better than regular plain yogurt as it is a lot "thicker"

I regularly replace sour cream with yogurt but since the texture and flavor of cream cheese and yogurt are so different, I don't think it would ever make a good replacement. You should try it and see what you think though.

Has anyone used greek yogurt to replace sour cream or cream cheese in a dip recipe? The texture is similar to cream cheese but it is tangier than cream cheese. I thought it would be a good way to add more protein into the dips w/ less fat.
