I like greek yogurt much better than the regular stuff, however my hubby just likes the regular. One must try it as we all have a 'personal' taste !

I find that taste does vary by brand. I love FAGE and Dannon Oiko Greek best.

I can't say as I really know the answer. I stay with DAnnon for the most part and also Stonyfield. I like them both, however Stonyfield does a slightly different texture, a bit smoother.
Dannon has 80 calories in 5.3 oz., Stonyfield has 90 calories in 4 oz.I don't have the carton for the Dannon so can't do a comparison.

emoticon It sure is. I use it in place of higher fat items like mayo when I make potato salad. I also use it in baking...makes your cakes moist and you can use less or no eggs. You can also take the plain nonfat yogurt and add some Hershey's unsweeted coco powder and's like chocolate pudding. It's also good good!

My opinion is yes. It has nearly double the protein with less than 50% more calories. Worth the extra money.

Not sure on your area, but Kroger brand has unique flavors and Giant Eagle's raspberry are our favorites. If you don't like the texture, mask it with oats or cereal.

Love the Dannon Greek low-fat yogurt. Creamier and 2x more protein. I'm trying to get more protein at breakfast.

I love it for baking with a yeast dough.

I thought it was more a matter of taste or texture preference. Also, it is easier for me to find yogurt brands without sugar or fruit added if I look for Greek yogurt.

Is it really better for us than the original?
