Got ya! I want to be healthier so that I can be around a long time to watch him. I love him so much and want him to be as proud of me as I am of him. This is a journey for me - one of understanding, forgiveness, action and reaching out. May not make sense to many others, but I know it is what I need to do. Thanks for the words of wisdom.

Just remember that you need to do this for you. If you go into wanting to do this for your son, it won't stick quite as well. I have a toddler and one of my goals is to be able to run and play with him, but ultimately my goal is to finally be healthy, happy, and more confident. If I can do that, I can do anything, and I really need that confidence. Drink your water! It's so hard for me but I can feel the difference on days when I drink less. Start small so you don't feel overwhelmed or discouraged! Good Luck! Msg me if you need someone to talk to.
I have fought weight my entire life, but after my husband had an accident and my brother passed away 4 years ago I piled on weight on top of weight I gained after my second child. Now that child is an avid baseball player who gained about 10 lbs this past year while dealing with a bad school situation. He just accepted an offer for a travel baseball team and they emphasize nutrition and fitness, so if he needs me to set the example. I own my own business, my husband is unemployed and life seems crazy, so any support others can offer will be greatly appreciated. This is going to be a long journey and it starts today.
