Are you tracking all of your food daily and staying in your recommended calorie and nutrient ranges? When you say you're getting bigger, is that weight, measurements or both? How much have you gained over what period of time? How much weight do you have to lose?

Ok, i have recently decided to get real about my weight loss. and when i say recently, i mean starting in the summer, so this has been a couple/few months now. i joined a gym, i am doing the drinking lots of water thing, i am monitoring what i am eating (which is my main area of issue) ... but i am getting bigger not smaller (very frustrating). can anyone offer any suggestions of reason, or what i could/should be doing to reverse this trend? any assistance or advise would be greatly appreciated as i refuse to go into 2014 looking like i do!
