I love the show "The Chew" and Carla on there made some awesome looking miniature tamales I want to try. She did not have to roll the masa, she just pressed it in her hand. She also said you do not have to use corn husk you can wrap and roll in parchment paper and tie the ends with string. I am going to use the parchment paper. Have you ever made them this way? Wish me luck! Do any of you have a favorite filling. I am using a very spicy ground beef mixture but if I do good I want to make chicken tamales as well and maybe pork.
