We always have an early start and a late end to winter in NE PA. I feel safe to say I think Spring has finally arrived. Flowers blooming, trees budding, birds singing, grass growing greener. Not yet safe to plant veges, but still, we're venturing out for our walks again. If it's windy, it's still a cooler wind, but it's warm and sunny when it isn't. The Dogs are loving playing ball and going for walks daily.

It snowed in Arkansas yesterday - it was the first ever recorded snowfall in May for our state. Crazy!

I've seen snow fall in Montana any month of the year...even in August! You just never know when it'll turn white. :)

I like cool weather too, but I also live in Kansas City (but on the Missouri side) and I'm tired of shoveling!!!! I feel your pain ...

We've set a lot of records this year. Who says there's no climate change going on???

Then my mother, who lives in LA, tells me that while I'm in snow, they're in the middle of fires from the Santa Ana winds and she can barely breathe when she goes out ...

Mother Nature is certainly interesting and keeps us on our toes.

Please send your rain/snow/cool weather to California! It is going to be almost 90 again today. Yuck!

I like and miss the cool weather. emoticon

I know we were mowing yesterday and my northern state of Iowa friends the next day were shoveling...

April showers bring snow plowers LOL

It is going to be raining three days in a row here now and I think I should be in seattle LOL

Sorry to hear it. :(
We must have stole your nice weather. It's been sunny, calm and in the high 70's here in Ontario, Canada. I have a serious sunburn on my back from gardening. The rest of the week there is no rain in the forecast (and we had buckets in April) and it's suppose to be mild and sunny. Of course... no rain *after* we plant the garden. Not that I'll complain too much.

You're getting what we had here in Colorado yesterday! Thankfully it's now sunny out (still cold) and the snow is melting fast and didn't stick to the roads or sidewalks, so no shoveling at least. Back into the 60s by the weekend.

I cannot believe it is May 2 and it is snowing where I live; it's also 35 degrees at 11:30 a.m.! I live in Kansas and we expect wacky weather, but this is beyond wacky. It hasn't snowed on May 2 in Kansas in over 100 years! We will set a new record for the lowest high temperature on this date ever! Two days ago it was 80! What's even crazier is our Kansas City Royals are in 1st place - what's next? The Chiefs will win the Super Bowl? emoticon
