I'm fairly new to this whole gluten thing, but I'm getting educated quickly. I'm switching a lot of foods to gluten-free. I did an allergy test, and while that came back negative, I still think I have a gluten sensitivity. There are so many food options out there right now for gluten-free eaters....it's wonderful! I am not really sure on the magnesium though....I've never really paid much attention to it. Maybe I should!
Magnesium dietary sources are in whole grains, nuts, seeds and legumes, Cabbage, Spinach maybe enjoy a spinach salad, on sandwiches instead of lettuce, steamed, stuffed in chicken with feta cheese or maybe stuffed cabbage rolls...broccoli, barley, Kidney, lima, and black beans, sweet potatoes, pumpkin seeds, some yogurt, etc.
Speak with your doctor if you feel you are low in magnesium as he/she can provide you with a magnesium test so you can see if you are actually low.

I can't eat whole wheat products because of a gluten and wheat allergy. So I am having a hard time getting enough magnesium in my diet to help with weight loss .Whole grain oats or important but I can only eat so much oatmeal. Does anyone else have this same problem? how did you remedy it. I have this allergy for 6 years and never new I was not eating enough. I was on a meat and veggie diet. I don't eat a lot of rice products like the breads or pastas. they are high in carbs. It would be nice to find someone like me, who has same type of allergy . I workout 5 days a week 30mins to 1 hour each time depending on time frame. I do cardio intervals with weight and abs. changing it up every time and on Saturdays I do a Denise Austin video with a strength band. 20 mins cardio, 10 upper body, 10 lower body and 10 abs .
