Almond meal flour works well as a substitute for bread crumbs in recipes. I am just starting to be aware of wheat and gluten free recipes but have used almond meal flour for years. It is a gluten free product but I only use brands where the label states it is GF.

I have a lot of gluten free recipes on my Pinterest board:" Gluten free and Dairy free". Hope there is some helpful information for you Most recipes can be modified and lightened up. Today I took a dressing for an oriental salad and substituted 1 Tbs water for 1 Tbs olive oil out of 2 Tbs. oil, added Stevia instead of sugar a dash of soy sauce and a dash of sesame oil and it was delish! My daughter has gluten allergies so I know you have to watch everything. Gluten Free Goddess also has a Pinterest board and lots of ideas. Hope it helps.

I've found a lot of dishes are easy to adapt- just skip dredging meat (corn starch is a great GF thickener for sauces) or use quinoa in place of couscous (different flavor, but close enough in size and texture).

This blog has some good stuff, though the GF is geared to the sweeter stuff.

The gluten free bread is costly but good if you fry in with alittle butter on each side just like grill cheese . Matter of fact i made a grill cheese sandwich last night and the pasta if you follow the cooking directions is great . I took 2/3 cup of dry gf pasta cooked and drained a 1 swaggart sausage cake fried it and about 1/2 cup chopped onions you can add more if you want and a 1/2 cup of spegetti sauce mix it made 2 - 1 cup servings and when i get ready to eat it i put it on a plate and sprinkle fine shredded cheese on it and put it in the microwave for 1 minute fix a small salad and 1 slice of fried bread ! emoticon Hope this helps i am new to this to matter of fact day 6 i have psoriaisis and i am going to give it 1 month see if it helps ! GOOD LUCK !

Have you ever tried subbing GF oatmeal for your bread crumbs? Works great....

My mom's meatloaf:

1lb leanest ground beef, chicken, or turkey
1 egg
1/2 onion chopped
garlic powder

mix very well with hands
shape into loaf or mini loaves
bake at 300-350 degrees until done

Hi I'm looking for more Gluten Free recipes. Not Desserts but main meals. I adapt most of the recipes that I see. It would be nice to see a Meatloaf or something that really has to be changed.
Thanks
