These are the things to consider regarding your post:
1. Do you need a protein supplement?? Most people do not!! If you are eating within your SP protein range, you do not need to supplement.

2. If you do need a little boost with your protein intake, whey protein has been shown to be the best. The whey would come from fluid milk.

3. If you are avoiding dairy, then you probably want to select a protein supplement using a soy base.

4. I usually don't encourage the use of mixes, because of the question about other ingredients. Plus when you select a plain protein powder supplement it can be used in smoothies, drinks, soups, etc. Much more versatile.

Does this ingredient occur in your protein powder???? I have read that it is a common ingredient in protein powder mixes. It is hydrolyzed wheat protein. So, for folks who avoid wheat, not so good, huh?
