haven't bought them in years (I really don't care for most of the varieties-thin mints were the only ones I liked).
I'm glad to make a cash donation to the troop, but the cookies aren't good and they are overpriced, IMO.
when I do feel obligated to buy them, I just buy ones that I don't like and leave them at church.

For the cute little gals outside the grocery store I donate $5 to their troop. If my hubby wants them he has to hide them and not eat in front of me.
GS cookies are my nemisis.

I honestly can't remember ever trying them. I think I vaguely remember a couple boxes living in the back of our snack cupboard until we finally gave/threw them away at one point when I was in junior high. I think we probably had to make room for all the salty junk.
DANG those evil little girls! :) I have resisted, but then, I haven't actually seen any Girl Scouts selling them lately, so I haven't been confronted with the temptation. They taste SO good.

Put them in the freezer and only pull them out for special occasions.

Haha! Too late, already got my boxes! One Samoas and one Tagalongs. I put them in the freezer, and if I want some, I'll pick a kind and take one cookie out. Since its frozen, it takes longer to eat, and by the time I'm done with that one, I can usually resist the urge to grab another. If I do go for another, it's gonna be the other kind. You know, to be fair to the cookies and all... ;)
put them in the freezer, since you already have them in the house

I got my girl scout cookies on Tuesday. I know I should not have. I can't resist. I binged on two boxes Tuesday night I now have three boxes of peanut butter patties. I'm trying so hard to forget them. Don't make my mistake! Stay away from those evil little girls
