I, too, spend a great deal of time at my computer- which was why I thought sparkpeople would be the perfect way for me to lose weight, and it is. I lost 50 lbs last time I was here, but lost focus so now I'm back losing again.
Some tips- Make sure you get in your 8 8 oz glasses of water every day. At least that much. Make a game of fitting your foods into your nutrition tracker- try to get everything in range. (Some days you won't, so don't stress over it, just try for MOST days). Also track sodium. You'll retain water if you consume too much sodium, and it's VERY easy to go over on it. Look up the nutrition info on the fast foods you're eating. You'll probably want to limit that to once a week. INDULGE once a week. It's hard to stick to a lifestyle change when you deny yourself the stuff you love. My weigh in day is Friday. I weigh Friday morning, so Friday is my "indulge" day. Then I'm good for the rest of the week.
Make a goal of exercise at least 30 minutes, 3 times a week. (It's a goal to start with- anything's better than NO exercise.)
These are all tips I've easily worked into my lifestyle of sitting on my rear at a computer most of the time, and they weren't too difficult to incorporate. Good luck!

My name is Tiffany and I am new to Spark. I am a PC Gamer and also a student studying Programming Online, so I am at my desk for about 80% of my day.
This year I realized my weight was getting out of hand and that I was eating at fast food restaurants everyday!
I am trying to start working on healthier gaming habits. I started to make a YouTube weight loss Vlog to help me stay accountable. I'd love it if some of you can help keep me motivated and give me great tips as a mostly stationary person.
