i havn't tried this in the Ghirardelli cookie mix ( yum btw) but i read online that you can substitute butter for veggie oil.... and recently i made brownies and substituted veggie oil for applesauce. it didn't really taste that different. so maybe try applesauce in it's place. hope that helps :)

Just made the Ghiradelli chocolate chip cookie mix cookies. They are fabulous. This was the first time I made them so made them as directed with a stick of butter. I was wondering if anyone has made them and if anyone used a substitute to make them a bit more calorie friendly?
