The same way as any other fatty area, good healthy eating and exercise. You can't target any area, or get rid of it quickly. The fat will come off where it wants to, in whatever order it wants to.
I have never heard of any exercises for the FUPA.

Unfortunately, we can't spot reduce areas of our bodies we don't like. However, if you eat right, watch your portions and get some regular exercise that includes some strength training, you can reduce fat across your entire body.
If you're trying to lose weight or get rid of that FUPA as you call it, then you must be mindful of what you eat. Good nutrition is what takes the weight off and keeps it off. exercise is what keeps our bodies fit and healthy.
Now, if you engage in a good strength training program to increase your overall lean muscle, that too will help reduce your body fat percentage. The more lean muscle you carry, the more efficient your body will be at burning fat.
Doing millions and billions of crunches and AB work WILL NOT help you lose fat across your belly. You must eat right if you want to lose.
PS - FUPA is a derogatory term used on Craigslist and other social networking sites to demean women. It's negative and Spark People is all about the positive.

What are the best exercizes or stretches to quickly get rid of the fupa? (fat upper pubic area, for those unfamiliar with the term.)
