My reason of staying motivated is having 2 heart attack's and saying to myself no more. During a cardiac catherization I woke up during procdure and said why is it so hot and Dr. said what are you doing up. That did it. Follow diet , exercise so I don't have to go through it again.

Just knowing there are a lot of people in the same boat helps. Good luck.

Today is the first day of the rest of our lives. It's never to late to start anew! Many of us are right there with you. Let's do it - starting today!! emoticon

"My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in me, whom I have from God, and I am not my own. For I have been bought at a price, therefore I will glorify God in my body and in my spirit, which are God's."

I have to thank all of you for your help and motivation. I guess I should tell you...I have learned from the past. I learned not to punish myself for things that happened in the past. I learned to keep going, and not to dwell on the things in the past. Thanks so much for the encouragement!!

I am in the same boat...it happens, and until we actually learn from our mistakes, nothing is going to change.

I completely understand how you feel. I have done the same thing. We can do it because we are worth it. Rock that weight loss!!!

To change the way you behave, you must first change the way you believe.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.

That's great! My only recommendation? Don't forget the past this time. Learn from it.

I have a hard time staying with things lately, but I got up this morning ready to commit to doing what I know works. I think I just needed a break. However, I have watched my weight creep up, and that is depressing. I plan to ignore the past, and just start again. Here we go!
