Take a breather.
6lbs so what!
You lost your mom, 6lbs or more of sadness is allowable.

Take care of your health the pounds will come and go, but you have to take care of yourself.
Grieve your mother quietly in your heart and/or very loudly for all the world to hear.
Remember you are not alone.
I don't know the depths of your pain but I care that you are hurting.

I was on a good weightloss track and exercising regularly until July 18, 2013. That is the day my mother passed away. She was sick for a very long time so her passing wasn't unexpected. What was unexpected is the way our family dynamics has taken a hit. We are lost. I am doing my best to provide comfort to my dad and cook meals for him. My brother and youngest daughter live out of state and my my oldest daughter lives close and helps with meals for dad too.
The Christmas holiday is tough because mom loved Christmas. She loved decorating her home, baking and especially shopping for her family.
I am trying to monitor my weight and exercise but have gained 6 pounds back. I don't want to backtrack any more but my life has changed. I don't know what to do. emoticon
