DENI! I'm sorry to hear you've been through the stress, pain, and long recovery involved with a hip replacement - talk about a major life stressor this year! Health issues can be among life's most overwhelming, too. It's great to hear that you're back...and that you've got a cousin who's gotten back to living a more fitness-centered life, too. This stuff all pays off! This site is the best, and I love that it's filled with enthusiastic people like you. All the best, and welcome back!

I have had a lot of health issues over the last 2 years and I had a hip replacement in February. I have gained so much weight and it's just been so much harder to get motivated to get up and do something about it but due to my job, and a cousin that has recently gotten back into fitness, I am here now, excited and ready to do my part. I love the tools available here to track fitness, nutrition and to be able to share! To whomever out there needs a motivational kick....it isn't going to fix itself, we have to take control and fix it.
