I think the important thing to remember on vacation is portions. You can still enjoy the special treats, but do so in moderation. It can be easy to get swept up in all you can eat buffets, but if you tell yourself before hand how much you are going to eat and stick to that amount, you will feel better about yourself.

In places where the portion is already chosen for you, don't eat the whole thing; they are usually larger than what you need. I know some people actually ask for a to go box right away at restaurants and wrap up half of their meal before they begin to eat. This way, you know when to stop eating.

I hope this helps. Good luck, and remember that you can do it!

Don't be too hard on yourself on vacation. It is a vacation after all. Try and get some exercise. You may be doing a lot of walking or something else active. Then pick two meals that are for fuel and try to make good food choices for those. The third meal enjoy yourself with out guilt.
