Started improving my overall health in March of this year. The company I work for is very involved in employee overall health and wellness. We began a wellness program that contained incetives for employees who were active in their overall health. Through motivation from my employer and co-workers, I was able to start eating healthier, and begin focusing on becoming more active. From March through July I had lost 6 lbs.
After slacking off and losing motivation, I decided to join my company's Biggest Loser contest. The contest beganJuly 16th and I am currently the leader in percentage of weight loss! As of today, I have lost nearly 15 lbs in the last 5 weeks. Aside from weight loss, I have encouraged my family to get involved in eating healthier and becoming more active. We have made my desire to be healthier a family goal, which we are striving to acheive daily.
