I can relate to the comments that people have been saying, both from my own experience and that of my husband when he was losing weight. Maybe you can just tell people that you're living it up in your new healthy lifestyle! After all, if this is now a lifestyle, then this is the new you! They'll get used to it eventually.

As you get to your goal weight, I'd encourage you to consider joining SparkPeople's At Goal and Maintaining SparkTeam. It's a really active team and there are challenges which you might find motivational.

I started this weight lose journey in June and am now getting close to my goal. I have about 5 lbs to go but the weight has been much slower coming off since January. I am at the point that people are saying "you don't need to loose any more" or "why keep losing weight you look fine". I want to be at a comfortable weight and feel this last few pounds give that to me. Losing is not easy no matter how much you have to lose. It seem when you are close it is easier but I am finding it isn't. I'm excited to get to goal and nervous to move to maintenance. I will take it one day at a time and this time will maintain my weight! emoticon
