I have always been a "night person" so doing my favorite exercise is difficult if I want to stay safe. I have found that if I do get up some time before 9am that I am able to take Pooch for a walk (she does not tolerate heat well), and once I start on my intervals (counting 200 steps then slowing down for 100) that I get into some sort of groove and it feels good. It also feels good to know that I have planned a healthy snack for when we return home. For me, I just can't do it alone, and Pooch serves as the perfect companion.
