"Ach, ich fühl's" from Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. It may not SOUND like a get-up-and-go song... BUT it's one of the songs I'm to sing in my audition at the end of the year. THAT motivates me to get in shape, particularly my core :-D, strong core makes for a great singer :-D!

When I was picking my "fast break" goals, I had a hard time picking the one to do with "Motivation", as THAT is my main problem. I can eat right, and exercise, but what gets me down is lack of motivation. I honestly couldn't pick one I know I'd do every day (or try to do every day). Yes, that is a bit sad, hehe.

Then I read closely and saw "Listen to a get-up-and-go song each day.". And I thought to myself, "Surely I can listen to that kind of song each day". It seemed like the easiest goal to pick. In fact, it seemed so easy, I didn't know if it would do me any good or not.

Low and behold, once I started listening to that kind of song each day, my attitude changed. I was afraid to take up running, because I knew I wouldn't be able to endure it. Once I started listening to my get-up-and-go song, I started running :-D. I started the C25K program, and created a playlist made up entirely of get-up-and-go songs. That is how I motivate myself to GET UP AND GO! Do some exercise, jump or run around, smile, be happy!!!!

I invite all of you to listen to a get-up-and-go song. It works wonders :-).
