Hi, Ashley !!
Now, let's put away that sad face !! You didn't do anything to derail your efforts at weight loss because you ate something that wasn't totally healthy. Spark People isn't about deprivation. It's all about moderation and portion control. Yes, even a meal at Burger King or onion rings CAN be a part of a healthy lifestyle !! You don't have to be perfect to be healthy.
Do you know what I ate on Saturday ?? I had a clam roll !!! Plus cole slaw, tartar sauce, garlic bread AND a donut !!! You know what ? I'm no less a healthy person because I indulged. I don't eat like that every day. I can't tell you the last time I had a clam roll and it was wonderful !!!
Did I beat myself up for it ? Nope. What I did was return to my normal (healthy) eating habits for the week. No beatings. No guilt. You need to do the same. It's okay to treat yourself now and then as long as you know you're eating right most of the time.
We all have those pitfalls, don't be so hard on yourself. As for exercising, can you go for a walk, bike ride, or yoga? Every little bit helps!!! Sending you comforting thoughts and encouragement, wishing you the best, and take care.
Ive been reaaly really good these past 5 or 6 weeks no fast foods or fried foods. but last night I gave into temptation and got onion rings. Then today for lunch I caved in to my burger king which was calling my name. Now im feeling guilty. Sometimes when u go back to eating unhealthy its hard to get back on track. The worst part is that ive had shin splints since friday so I havent been able to go to the gym. feeling icky......in need of encouragement.
