My fun thing for Week One ended up being changing my hairstyle. I went from having really long hair to having it cut really short! I didn't go with my original plan because my bike is too buried in the shed at the moment. With Dad working on the sprinkler system, I didn't want to bug him for his help. I did walk up to the park with my brother, but we ended up leaving early because his shoulder was causing him quite a bit of pain. (He is disabled and was using his hand-pedaled bike.) I still plan on making it to the park sometime this month.
I would still love more fun suggestions. My plans for Week Two got canceled. It looks like we will be going to the planetarium that week though, but I don't have anything planned for the last three weeks of the month. Thanks for all of the great ideas!

Thank you for all of the great suggestions! I think my fun thing this week will be to ride my bike to the park and swing on the swings. I might blow bubbles too.
Go to a flea market or farmer's market. Go geocaching. Go for a drive, stroll or hike. Take pictures of nature. Try to learn something new- a craft, playing an instrument, a language, a new cooking method, dance lesson. Make foods from a country or region you might like to visit. You can find recipes on the internet. Go to an art gallery or museum. Go to an auction. Check out events at your local library. Volunteer somewhere. Play frisbee. Go camping. Go to the zoo. Go to an arcade. Change your hairstyle.

I went miniature golfing with my hubby and daughter this weekend and it was really fun.

do you have a park near by with swings? I LOVE to get on the swings! Makes me feel like a kid again.

My birthday is in May so one of my goals for this month is "Have an AWESOME birthday month". I did this last year, too. The idea is to do and blog about one very fun thing each week this month. Since this week is just four days long, and I didn't plan ahead like I should have, I need some ideas of fun things I can do with limited time and resources. Some of the things I did last year include:
-going to the park to play and blow bubbles -going to the car show with my little brother and getting root beer floats on the way home -playing pinball at the pizza place -playing the shooting gallery at Cabela's
Any ideas, even ones I might not be able to do this week, would be much appreciated. The only week I really have planned for is next week. My family and I are going to Lagoon Amusement Park to celebrate my birthday a couple weeks early.
