Hi Nannette, Do you log your food? My suggestion is to log faithfully (measure and log 100%) for at least two weeks, then see a professional nutritionist to see where you need to improve. Also drink 8 oz of water every hour that you are awake. My friend and I tried an experiment. We were each at a plateau and added pure water, one glass every hour. She lost 8 pounds. I lost 2.

My name is Nanette and I dont visit the site too often because I am a workaholic (always working overtime) I enjoy the money though, I get to take vacation 3-4 times a year and buy clothes, shoes, etc.
But to the point, I have been struggling with my weight for 20 plus years now and still havent accomplished a healthy weight. I have gone as far as losing a total of 40 pounds still with a substanial amount to go to be considered at a healthy weight; I am suffering from obesity trying to reach just over weight and it has been awful; I stopped smoking after smoking 30 years plus, I am 4 years smoke free; I thought that would be my hardest accomplishment; thought I could master this weight thing (not) As I stated earlier I lost as much as 40 pounds and have gained back 25 back.
I know I am babbling on and on; I do Zumba, cardio, ab sculpt 4-5 times a week; I m getting very toned but I am still is sizes 16 and 18s. I suffer from hypertension but my cholesterol remains fine.
I know what and what not to eat; but I crave mostly what I am not suppose to be eating. I go plans and follow them for a while and then they get old; what has really frustrated me is I keep running into plateaus and cant overcome them and put weight back on.
I appreciate any and all suggestions anyone may have to offer.
