Gee that must have been some fall. I hope you recover quickly. Don't worry about not being able to exercise for the time being. Concussions can be scary things. Take the time you need to get better. Once the doctor gives the all clear, you can slowly return to your exercise routine.
Don't worry ! As long as you are mindful of what you eat, you will not gain weight because you can't exercise. Eat healthy and wholesome foods that nourish your body will help your body to heal.
Yeah, it was a hard hit and I have no one to blame but myself- Had my arms too full of boxes and slipped on a bit of paper that was on the floor and banged my noggin on a chair. I've had a headache since it happened (Sunday night) and I've been doing nothing but light house work and getting on the computer for school & Spark when my head doesn't hurt that much.
I am so happy with my progress so far (I'm at 41lbs gone now) and I still hope to meet my goal of 180-185 by December, so I'm going to follow DRs orders but get back on the wagon as soon as I can!
Hope you heal quickly! This is a good "inner" time, maybe, for you to meet yourself on a new level. It could be a profoundly helpful journey.

Wow... that must have been some hard hit on your poor head! I hope you feel better soon. Just stay motivated to eat well this next month and you will be ready to jump back in as soon as your doctor gives you the all clear!
Well I certainly hope you recuperate soon. AND I thought I was down 'cause I caught a virus that's gone around the office and can't exercise today; there isn't a bone in my body that doesn't ache and my head feels like it's gonna' explode. But I will get back to my routine tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you. Feel better quickly and follow the doc's advice!

Goodness, I hope you feel better. Take it easy and know that this is just a hiccup in the road to your healthy living journey.
I gave myself a concussion and am off exercise for at least a month. The doctor doesn't even want me vacuuming or lifting my cats, and he wants me to limit activities that involve having to process a lot of information quickly- Video games, school, reading and *gulp* internet.
It is frustrating because I had hit a plateau and finally broke through!
Not the end of the world, though- I am motivated and will make sure I am back on track once I am given the "all clear" for exercise. I just wish I could do something besides sit around the house!
