Yes, it's very frustrating to only lose 1 pound in a week, but that's one pound LESS. Also, if you ever are tempted to give up keep this in mind: Giving up isn't going to make it happen, so if you really want it, you are going to have to keep trying.
You can do it! Just be patient with yourself and enjoy the process.
I've been on this journey for 3 years now, and in that time, I've really learned how to make some adjustments. It really is a life style change, and it's one worth working for and waiting for.

As long as you keep up with your SP program, vent away! Get it off your chest, and then give yourself credit for a net loss of 7 pounds in 2 weeks. Even when the going is slow, at least the scale is still going down. It has taken me 2 years and 3 months to get to where I am now, 48 pounds later. If you average it out, that's less than a 2 pound loss per month that I've been doing it. I've been so frustrated at points where I plateaued that I wanted to give up, but I kept at it until I got through it. So I didn't get my results as fast as I wanted, but I did get finally get there and am so glad I stuck it out and I know that you can too as long as you don't give up!

don't be discouraged! your body is adjusting to your new way of life, and is progressing in other ways that the scale does not see! you're doing a great job!

Keep your chin up! Slow & steady wins the weight race. We'd all like to lose 6-10 pounds a week but that is not realistic. Most of lose 1-2 pounds a week and that's the healthy way to do it and keep them off. It is frustrating - I'm there with you! I've been doing 1 pound a week for the past 6 weeks and finally on week 7 lost 2. If you lost 6 in the first week - - you're already down 7 pounds in two weeks! You are doing great!

So this past week was my second week of trying to get healthier and I only lost 1 pound. Only 1 pound! I have so much weight to lose so I thought the first couple of weeks I would be able to drop a little extra. Lost 6 pounds the first week. I know it takes time. Been there before. Just needing to vent. Ugh!
