As a photographer, I would be very upset! I don't know what I would do if I lost all of the work that I've done. Always. Always. Always. back up important files. You never know what might happen.

Just saw a news story about iphones and ipads. They are the newest items to be stolen and sold on the black market. It is big bussiness. millions of dollars every year! They are doing a grab and run type of snatch. So they were saying to be careful not to put your phone where someone can see it in your purse or hang on tight to it if you are carrying it.
Oh, poor thing! I've had that happen when a laptop crashed a few years back and I lost priceless pics, so I know that feeling. I upload to Snapfish now - and you can upload right from your phone via their app. I know there are other services out there, not really sure about them - I've just been using Snapfish for a long time. Definitely a tough lesson to learn! :(
This is a good lesson to learn. A co-worker of mine lost his iPhone (didn't have password lock on) but had it anonymously returned a few days later with a note that said, "Nice pics of your privates" He's been seriously nervous ever since....
My daughter had her iphone stolen with hundreds of photos she did not back up. She cried for hours, lesson learned. It can happen to anyone of us, so this is a friendly reminder to store pics in a safe place to where this won't happen to you.
