My boy friend and I were friends for four years before we started dating a year ago. So we are really close. We both want to get into really good shape so we decided to make it a competition. We are starting off with a time period; we chose three weeks. So our weigh in will be in three weeks from today. In those three weeks we have two goals to meet:
1) lose five pounds 2) Be able to run 3 miles non-stop.
Whomever achieves these goals by the weigh in wins and gets to pick the next fitness challenge ( oh and gets to pick a fun date that the loser will take the winner on) But you can do what ever you want for the prize! Try this , it is a great way to motivate each other and add some spark to the relationship...that is if you are competitive, if not make a team goal ( such as lose a combined total of 10 pounds in 4 weeks) and when you both achieve that goal take each other out for a night on the town, or whatever you may choose.
