My favorite food is chicken leg quarters sprinkle with herbs & spices then bake skin side down at 350 for 30 minutes, then turn skin side up and bake another 30 minutes. One day I will have chicken with veggies or another day I cut the meat off sprinkle with some spices and add 1Tablespoon ranch dressing or any mayo or salad dressing. Mix then top with lettuce and salad garnishes.
Over the past two weeks I have been trying something new. I have prepared each of my meals with fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, and any meat I use is fresh meat. I have completely stayed away from processed foods all together. This really wasn't intentional, as I was really trying to stay away from wheat products and gluten for a while. In doing so, I have found that the fresh foods are the easiest to use when cooking and preparing meals and staying gluten and wheat free.
I have noticed big changes in how I feel and how quickly I fill up on these foods with NO real feeling of being hungry. I've read that this happens when you stop eating the wheat/bread due to the fact that you don't crave it as much.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had favorite meals or recipes that use fresh foods and avoid wheat....
