Mostly fresh, frozen in the winter for some fruits and veggies like spinach and broccoli, only canned beans, but we eat a lot of beans.

Fresh and frozen, but I avoid canned because of the sodium and the veggies do not taste as good.

Give up everything you love, and everything that tastes good = weight loss! Simple as that!

It really depends. My grocery trips usually start in the fresh produce aisle and I impulse-buy whatever is cheap that I know how to deal with.

I do like to always make sure I have frozen broccoli, spinach, peas, green beans, California mix, stir-fry mixtures, and corn-based stew mix. I managed to freeze some tomatoes, but I usually turn to the canned. I keep a few other canned veggies around for emergencies, and hubby has glommed on to the mushrooms so I have to keep buying them.

Fresh, preferably, with top choice being straight from the Farmer's Market. If fresh can't be had, or it's simply more economical to buy frozen, then I'll do that. I never buy canned though - way too much sodium, and it just seems kind of gross to me. The only things I buy canned are tomatoes and beans, and the occasional can of soup.

I always buys fresh vegies.

Mushrooms, sometimes fresh, mostly canned.

Seafood, frozen if it's too expensive when fresh (scallops, for instance).

I'll go for any of the above...provided the canned is low sodium/no salt added, or in just juice or no sugar added.
With vegetables, though, I do prefer fresh or frozen.

I try to go for fresh, but frozen is my next choice. I only eat canned if feel lazy or I'm eating it with cottage cheese or jello.

I buy either fresh or frozen, never canned. My broccoli and green beans are frozen and I like eating them for supper. But I also buy a lot of fresh fruits, and veggies for salads almost daily.

I buy mostly canned diced tomatoes because I cook with them a lot. I occasionally buy fresh tomatoes to serve with tacos.

I prefer fresh always but i use a system when grocery shopping...
1.look at sale prices for fresh... buy what i can
2. purchase lowest price frozen
3. if i have to resort to canned to provide variety i do to keep it in my budget

All of the above. I mostly buy fresh and frozen but do get canned, especially beans, on occasion. I live in Minnesota and so fresh isn't always the easiest thing, especially if I want to keep a little variety in my diet.

For fruits and veggies which do you prefer and buy. I try to buy fresh but cauliflower was 4.99 a bunch today so I got the frozen on sale a dollar a bag.
