I got fooled by the Walmart gift card the other day. I was not happy.

Ebay does not own SparkPeople.

i consider it "no membership charge" to me. i buy SP things to support them every so often. i don't want them going out of business, even though it is ebay that owns this?

"Be aware just because we do not have to pay does not make it truly Free."

True... but if I am not paying, it IS free to me.

We use the word Free very generously.

Most times what we mean it cost us nothing.

BUT, is it free?

No, not really. It cost someone somewhere something. The web hosting, band width, site design, ongoing purchase and maintenance of server hardware. It all cost money and someone IS paying. Just someone else.

Be aware just because we do not have to pay does not make it truly Free.

Just a thought.
