Thanks, everyone. Looks like I may have to go back to tracking my food. I started, then I stopped a long while ago - I just found it to be a nuisance. The hardest is going to be dinner. I tend to eat the same stuff for breakfast or brunch - it is dinner that changes...

The Spark Meal Plans will allow you to customize and exclude items. I like them. If you don't like the plan for the meal you can access alternatives. It gives me great ideas for eating healthier. You can also get a shopping list! I think that is so cool (and free)! Keep Sparking!

I've had excellent results following the Zone Diet proportions and recommendations. It a healthy anti-inflammatory diet that quickly becomes a lifestyle. No deprivation or hunger involved. I lost a lot of weight and feel great! There's even a Zone diet team here on spark.

Lost 100 pounds with the Zone 18 years ago and have kept it off!

You can see photos of my favorite meals and snacks here:

I actually do need help accessing them. I didn't know SP had any!

What about the SP meal plans??
Let me know if you need the steps to access them here.

You will also find an extensive list of substitutions for the meal plans OR you can make your own substitution.

The meal plans are in your calorie range.

Is there a place where I can find free diet plans. I hesitate to use the word 'diet' but that is what they are called. I am so mad with myself now. My weight keeps going up - it seems like it goes up a pound a week. I know I can do better in the meal department - dinner particularly. I eat breakfast, or should I say brunch, which is usually between 300-500 calories. Snack, if I have it, is 100-200 calories (mainly some brand of shredded wheat), but then comes DINNER. My fam and I eat a lot of chicken, ground turkey, spaghetti, and rice. I personally like to bake french fries or tots(Ore-Ida) once or twice a week. I LOVE cheese! I also like mushrooms and onions, broccoli, and I'll tolerate collard and turnip greens. Maybe it is not so much the food but the portions - I don't know yet. I just know that something is not working. Also I try to work out for 30 minutes 3 times a week, but the intensity has changed some. I used to do Jillian Michaels A LOT, but I guess I have gotten bored, and while I still do her DVDs, I also get on the stationary bike, do free weights, and jog - those three are definitely not the intensity of JM. Anywho, hoping for some advice...Thank you so much!
