Unfortunately I have to take hormonal birth control because I'm not usin it for pregnancy but for medical conditions. I have ovarian problems so I need to prevent ovulation. Believe me. I'm a queer asexual. I have no need to take birth control otherwise. And I have talked to multiple doctors. None of them have any clue.
I would suggest trying a different doctor, other birth control options (non hormonal). I would also maybe suggest talking to your normal doctor- not an obgyn (if that is who is perscribing your birth control). If you are tracking your food, working out and not seeing results- only a gain, there is something bigger going on and a doctor who says "that's weird" is not really a doctor you should trust with putting drugs into your body.

I already did. Her response was "that's weird." She said there were no signs of a hormone imbalance and that there was nothing to be done. This is the third different kind of bc I have tried. They all make me gain.

Have you spoke to your doctor? Maybe they cane offer valuable insight.

So, I've been on Spark for about two full weeks now. I started taking Ortho Tri Cyclen about the same time I got on spark. In the past, birth control ruined my amazing weight loss I'd achieved. I went from 146 up to 164. Which is where I was when I started spark.
I'm up, again, to 166 and flipping out a little bit because I'm active and restricting my calories and still gaining and I don't know what to do.
