I used to eat huge handful of baby spring mix with every meal. I didn't put any dressing or add other toppings, I just ate it alongside whatever else I was having.

For me it was 100 calorie snack packs ... I needed to have the same taste but i needed them to be less than the real thing .. not sure that makes much sense though .

At the beginning I kind of ate crappy food. Mostly frozen meals...I had to relearn portions and I also worked full time and went to school at night, so I heavily relied on pre-prepared foods to get me to stay in my calorie ranges.
But, I'm rediscovering carrots and celery with hummus or some other kind of dip. Sounds silly but I hadn't actually eaten them for months. I had some out at a party the other night and now I keep eating them. Right now I'm eating them with an onion sour cream dip from the store, which happens to only be 60 calories for 2tbsp...about the same as hummus.
I love brussel sprouts too! I try to prepare a new vegetable each week. Sometimes that is a grain or fruit instead, but the idea is to get more nutrition and flavor and variety in my life.

Brussell sprouts! Yes, I know, I'm weird but a big bowl of brussell sprouts are my go to snack to get me thru the evening.

I've only been at this for 6 months, but nothing really sticks out in my mind. I just try to get as much variety as possible in the fruit and veggie catgory. I never used to eat veggies and now I can't get enough.
