Hehe, it totally is a trigger. Football and food just go together. I have managed to make some of my indulgences a little healthier, but I still love my vegan buffalo nuggets on Sundays. What's different now is that I plan for them, so I just eat lighter the day before and the day after and maybe even work out a little harder ;).

I agree that football season is a food trigger, but YOU can change your very own traditions! Some excellent suggestions below from others.

Oy, I started a silly ritual in college (eating Cheetos during every game) and ONLY during football season. I never touch them the rest of the year. Every time I forget to buy them or think it is silly to eat them... my team loses! Thus today, my Colts lost because I wanted to stay away from the Cheetos. I should have just ate them & allotted my calories for it!
