Not sure how old you are but you should just buy your own snacks so that you're eating what someone else brought in the house.

Eat protein. It will satiate you and it will not be so hard to avoid a Mike & Ike binge. Snack on Babybell cheeses, turkey snack sticks, beef jerkey, plain yogurt. Ask your mother if she could pick up some of these things. It's very hard to resist the sugar munchies if you don't have another option to help you fill in the craving gaps.

Try some mental reframing. She bought the junk - it's not yours, it's hers. You are not weak, you are strong. Tell yourself how things will be, and they will be.

Keep trying! We all have the bad days where we give into temptation. The successful aren't people who are perfect, but those who keep picking themselves up after eating more than they planned.

Sometimes I find that if I save space for one of the items that I tend to eat too much of, that knowing I CAN have a portion keeps me from over-indulging.

Sometimes I need to get out of the house and take a walk when cravings hit that I know aren't hunger-induced.

Note: I am not always good at doing those things!

Everyone messes up occasionally! Just get back on the wagon & make a new start.

Have you asked your mom to buy you healthier snacks, like baby carrots, celery, or boxes of raisins?

Also, just because your mom buys it doesn't mean you have to eat it! Good luck.
