Wow that's so weird that that happens! :o) I have never had that happen to me, but it doesn't mean it won't in the future. I'll know ahead of time though! Haha I have had ads with sound play suddenly (without my mouse being anywhere near it), and scare me so bad I fell out of my chair! That has happened to me several times. I have to remember to turn my volume down when I log into SP. :o)
It has happened roughly once a year, with products that bought special advertising. There was one that was so sensitive that you didn't even have to click-- it would insert itself if you just rolled over the ad. That was what drove me to use ad blocking software and keep it enabled for this site.
Since it's a major company, the best way to get this to stop is to contact the company through *their* website and tell them that you will never, ever buy one of their products again if you can avoid it, and that you consider this not just annoying but downright offensive. If they feel like they're going to lose more customers than they get, they won't throw away money on that type of ad (because I'm sure it must be pretty expensive.)
Meanwhile, just delete the item from your tracker when it shows up. Now that you know what happened, you'll know that you need to run a search-and-destroy mission for that item once a day for the next week or so.
Anyone ever have a food item show up that you didn't log? This has recently happened to me twice and both times the same food. I don't even know what this item is and I have never looged it. However, it has now shown up logged in my dinner catagory twice and I've had to delete it. What should be done? Isn't this weird? This is the item: Green Giant Digestive Health (1/2 cup prepared), 1 serving ⊗
