I also weigh/measure all my food and record it in my nutrition tracker. To my knowledge, this isn't a specific diet. It's just a smart way to accurately count calories, which will help with weight loss (assuming you follow SparkPeople's recommendations).
Weight loss is about the amount of food that is eaten and the calories contained. To know the exact amount you must either weigh or measure. Weighing is the most accurate. It is what we suggest here at Sparkpeople. SP Registered Dietitian Becky
