9/18 I took the spin class at kew garden ballys. Nice place. My thigh is sore from the class is a good workout.Beautiful day to be out. I glad I workout, because I had company over my house. I had a nice time.
We went to Patel Brothers store in Richmond hill.

Forgot to post on the 16th. I was very busy.
I workout last night and stay there about 3 hours.
There was a big storm. Thank God everything is okay.
Prayer meeting was cancelled. Will go next week.
God is good. I burned about 1400 calories last night.

9/15 I need to workout. Today it was bad. I took off today so I could go to .c.n.a. school. Got lost, it was too late for the class. I was disappointed! The good news my son text me...He pass the road test and will have drivers license. I am happy for him.
Thank God everything is going to be okay...Give God praise the good, the bad and the ugly.Everything happen for the best.

9/14 Focus and plan ahead. tomorrow I have weight-in for BLC 14 team called C.A.M.O crews. This is 12 weeks of program. Hopefully tomorrow going to the spinning class. I missed the class, sure is fun and burn calories!! High intensity workout!! I love it.

9/13 Hello! I made to the blc 14 team called C.A.M.O crew team. Looking for competition and press toward to my goal. BLC's 14 teams are rocking. Cannot let the spark out, got to keep going.
This morning I had some oatmeal with banana, herbal teas, and some almonds.

I made homemade spaghetti with portbello marinated,
fresh garlic, and red onions.Also add some tomato sauce. (delicious)
Raw broccoli with herbal seasoning.

9/9 Focus! also on fitness challenge is in. Soon will start blc 14 team starting Wednesday. I have to weight-in. Today I am going to use blender.I am using raw collard greens, bananas and apple. Taste good and full of nutrients. Going to school for cna training program. This afternoon I went to access training school. The place is nice. I have things to do next week. Off to the gym

9/8 Focus and focus on my plan....Still working out and sometimes my calories is not up where it should be. I may have to add some beans in nutrition plan.
I know I burned lots of calories daily. Today I forgot to bring my sneakers to the gym. So I went later at night-time.

9/3 Good morning! Last night I had short sleep.
to combine energy drink with zip fizz is not good idea/
Make you go to the bathroom frequently with burning sensation when I urinate. Well I learned from my mistake. Also slow you down when working out.

9/2 workout time burned over 1000 calories. I think eating ice cream really slow me down. Usually I am not tired when I exercise. Today I am! Well no ice cream cone today. for Breakfast I had some oatmeal
Lunch; pizza with lots of romaine lettuce on it.
Dinner: Pork chop with romaine lettuce, marinated portobella, cucumbers and little bit of olive oil.
To eat light you feel better and feel energized to exercise more.

9/1 Focus and plan ahead is working for me.
I workout today about 40 minutes. I burned over 500 calories. I went to the beauty parlor to get my hair done. You know I have to take care of myself. Nobody else will.

8/31 On Wednesday I will join blc team I guess it is camo crew. Not to sure. Time will tell tomorrow.
Today I stay at the gym until 6 pm. Burned 1400 calories between treadmill and cycling. Sweating a lot.
Today I will have pork chop with whole wheat pasta and steamed broccoli. I used fresh rosemary herb, garlic,cilantro and tarragon. Taste good!
Later will have some grapes.
I went to vitamin shop today and brought some energy drink is called Celsius - taste good. I got sparkling orange flavor. It is okay to have sometimes when working out.
Oh yes I brought some sherry wine is for cooking.
Ugh! that taste horrible. I am taking sherry wine back to walmart. That is for to cook meats, soup, and seafood I guess. Horrible! I want to gag!! I will stick with red wine vinegar.

8/26 This is my Spark anniversary today. 6 months of my journey. I went from fat weight 208 lbs. to 177 lbs.
I lost 31 lbs. I need to lose 21 lbs. My goal weight is 158 lbs. I am getting there and surely..I feel good and I am still working out faithfully. Stay with my calorie range. But I had to take an easy with ice cream binges! Just need to eat more of fruits and start drinking green tea. I find herbal teas does cut out appetite and sweets. If I have the urge for sweets I will have some raw nuts like almonds, and cashews.
Today my weight is still the same! 177lbs.

8/16 I had busy summer working almost every day with couple cases. They are very nice people. Someday I want to go back to school for C.N.A program. Will be done by Faith. Trusting God!

My weight is still the same. My weight is 179 steady right now. I guess will workout more and stay with in my calorie range. Sometimes it is 1200 to 1500 per day.
That depends on workout because I usually burn 1200 to 1800 calories per day! I love to workout! I feel great and confident in myself. I can do all things through Christ has strengthen me. Amen!

Through 7/20 to 7/726
I have in and out of home health aide taking care of elders...Some experience...I watch what I ate and did very little exercise. I brought dumb bells with me.
Try to work out when patient goes to sleep. That is the best time for me to settle down. I fast couple days just with water and had some nuts. I am tired of them. My weight is 180lbs. Before the summer is over I want to get down to 170lbs. hopefully. Today I came home and have to do housework and laundry.
It is good to be home. Life goes on! I workout today about 3 hours and some strength training. I want to use jump rope have to take an easy on my left leg (sprained muscle). Slowly healing which is good!
I used jump rope to hop on my right foot!
Tonight will do some more of strength training and barbells. Also use dvd about leslie Sansome Walk-fit about 30 minutes. Got to stay busy is the way to keep your weight down. Don't kill yourself! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

7/14 Today I lost 2lbs. the total weight is 181 lbs.
WOO HOO! yessssss! I am on my way to slimmer me!
I still have ways to go. I need to lose about 31 lbs.
I will achieve my goal, I can succeed. I feel I am in control with my body! I am strong and healthy. I will be back next Monday (on vacation). My leg is getting better I can do some exercise. I probably use dvd called Walk-fit by Leslie Sansome. Very good workout and is effective.

Eating clean is good and healthy. This is not diet, is just about eating healthy. I like it is all natural food. Eat 6x a day and still loose some weight. I have been doing that when I joined SP program.
My skin clear a great deal especially the dark spots is almost gone. My face has the glow that people compliment about. I believe it comes from drinking lot of water. I stopped drinking sodas, sugared juice, drinks. It has to be all natural juice and smoothies that I make from the scratch.
One day I made green smoothies ( delicious)

2 bananas
1 handful of spinach
1/2 cup of blueberries
1/2 cup of strawberries
1 apple
It is filling!

Breakfast :
Old fashioned oatmeal with flax
banana

Lunch:
4 oz.pork chop
1 cup of dirty rice
broccoli

Snack:
Craisinets
almonds

Workout about 3 hours of treadmill and stationary bike, strength training, weights and jump rope.

Got to keep moving!! workout, workout is the only way to keep your weight down. On hot days is easy to sit back and watch t.v. - because the weather is too hot to do anything. Well I am going to push myself into exercise mode that is all to it. I like to keep myself busy anyway. emoticon emoticon Drink a lot water. Water is my best friend. Keep my body at cool temperature, clear toxin of internal organs, skin, and your hair. I feel good when drink lot of water instead other drinks.

Just came back from prayer all-night. It is truly a blessing to wait on the Lord. God is faithful.
Trust Him and cast your cares upon Him for cares about us and our needs. Went to the gym this afternoon, had a wonderful workout, sweaty and burn 1009 on treadmill, mileage 4.50. Want to get on strength training but I leave so my daughter could take the car to work. I will do strength training and also use weights at home.

I am still up, I have start reading books on diets, workout, and understanding about metabolism.It is good to know about food to eat.Especially should be well-balanced meal protein, carbohydrates, and fats.
When I go shopping I have start to read labels on everything. I want to eat clean and everything natural.
I have stop buy deli-cuts that is fill with nitrites.
Some have BHT-that is not good. Also want to avoid sugar syrup, and corn syrup. No processed food.
I feel much better without processed and junk food.
Eliminate all sodas and drinks. I drink water most of the time. Sometimes will have smoothies, raw juices and herbal teas. With all this I follow natural food, my hair and skin has improved a lot, even people has complimented me. I added more of veggies and fruits to my diet. I feel good about myself and stress level is low. I look forward to new things in life. I will make it as long I stay on the journey!!

I am progressing; I lost 2 lbs this week and 1" off waistline, measures from 38 to 37 YAAAAH!

This morning for breakfast I had:
oatmeal with blueberries. (very good)
Lunch
Cut-up steak with red peppers, garlic and broccoli.
Yellow rice.
Dinner:
Watermelon

Workout is today:
Hope the gym is cooler.

Today is another challenging things to do.
I want to increase my workout and make some changes.
On treadmill instead of walking would probably do walk-run combine together.
Add more strength training. Strength training is good to tone your muscles and define your body. But at the same time - on the scale you gain weight. (muscles) as long you are losing inches is okay.
Last night the spin class was kicking my butt. The workout was 1 hour session. The instructor is very good and her class stays fill up..Hope to get the spot next Monday. Will see.....

Breakfast: I had greek yogurts with peaches and flax.
Lunch: small plate of collard greens.
Dinner: 2 talipia fillets. baked potato and broccoli.
Snack: Watermelon.

Hydrate! Hydrate and Hydrate!! is the key to my health, and my body stay energized when combined eating healthy food. Diet does not last, but eating healthy is a lifetime commitment.

The weather is hot today!!
I did not want to eat anything heavy today.

Breakfast:
watermelon and banana
water 12 glasses
coconut oil

Lunch:
Chicken - boneless
rice
collard greens

Dinner:
Chicken - boneless
rice
collard greens

Snack:
yogurt with flax
watermelon

Workout - going to the gym.

This morning I had breakfast:
chobani greek yogurt with flax.
banana
Lunch: chicken, lots of veggies, carrots, cucumbers,green and red peppers.
Dinner: chicken, veggies, and whole wheat pasta.
Snack: Watermelon, and almonds.

I had a good day workout at the gym only treadmill, stationary bike was broken. I stay on treadmill about 70 minutes, burn 1047 calories and good sweat.
I am looking forward tomorrow and more of strength training!! OH YES I was running about 2 minutes on treadmill...I have accomplish something!!

Hello my name is Audrey

I have joined SP group since February. I believe God send SP to me. I went to BJ's (store) I saw pretty orange book which has caught my attention. Of course it was call THE SPARK!!I read little about people's success of weight loss. Next day I logged on to SPARK PEOPLE and I have been on every since.

Before SP
1. My weight was 208 lbs. feeling bloated and miserable most of the time.

2. Bad habits eating too late at night/then to bed.

3. Would not have breakfast but I'm starving!

4. I am lifetime membership at the gym - that's good!
but I dread going to the gym and did not workout too much.

5.Watch late movies and have ice cream and cake.

6.Eat too much junk!!

7. If want to lose weight, would use fad diets.
Or course that doesn't work gain all the weight back.

8. Most of the time, I am stress.


After SP:
1. Lost 23 lbs. my weight is 185 lbs. HAPPY!!

2.Stop eating late at night. (Cold Turkey)

3.I have breakfast daily and daily logged my nutrition tracker.

4.I love going to the gym - meet nice people.
If I do not go, I feel little sad.

5.,Sometimes still watch late movies - by working out little and drinks lots of water or herbal teas.

6. Cut out sweets a lot, no sodas, just have granola bars, or oatmeal cookies.

7. No fad diets - just eating healthy. Diets do not last long. Eating healthy is a lifetime commitment.

8.Since I have changed my ways and eating habits, I am very happy and less stress able to deal with it.
Also God is in control in my life and takes care of my needs.


Today: 6/26 I did not go to the gym, because had to take care of tenants apartment. That is okay,
Going to workout at home.
1. Using weights.
2. Jumping rope.
3. Stair steps. ( while watching the t.v.)

food tracker:

Salmon burger with romaine lettuce.
4 pc. Oatmeal cookies,
Banana
Water, Water, Water is very important for your body, especially workout. Need to stay hydrate.
