It depends on what you mean by "fitness mat". The yoga and pilates mats are not "designed for women". They may be bright, colorful, etc, but there is no gender bias other than the aesthetics. Their purpose to give you some traction, keep you from touching the 'dirty" ground, and help keep you from sweating on the ground.

Most sporting goods stores, Target, WalMart, and other similar stores will have a couple rather bland mats to choose from. Or you can always buy one from the SparkPeople Store . If you're looking for something different you'll need to explain more of what you're looking for.

Can any of you guys recommend a good fitness mat for the "mature" man? All I find are yoga and pilates mats designed for women.
