It's okay if you're doing different activities on different days, as long as the calories burned goal and what you're actually doing are pretty close by the end of the week.

Does that help?

1/25/13 10:40 P more question, then. When I update my calories burned, do I do that every day, or, say, for a week, and then do the same exercise?

You adjust your diet to your workouts, not the other way around. :) update your fitness goals to reflect how much you're working out, and you'll see that message go away, and maybe even get more calories to work with. :)

I agree with Jen. Just update your calories burned goal to reflect how much exercise you're doing, and then you should be fine to eat in the calorie range that SP suggests.

I usually burn my weekly set calories in one day lol. Just make sure your nutrition is in line with your exercise and you will be just fine!

Yes, it's ok to go over fitness minutes. That's just set based on the workouts you said you'd do plus your goals. The best thing to do is to input your average weekly calorie burn into your fitness tracker.

I consistently burn more calories than are set for me (weekly totals). I generally exercise in ten-minute bursts walking, then ride my recumbent bike for ten to fifteen minutes per day.

This, to me, doesn't seem like much. If I'm "over" on fitness minutes, is that all right? Should I just go ahead and do as much as I like, even though over?
