I also love my Fitbit One. I've had mine for about 3 days. It's highly motivating. I took 14,414 steps yesterday and climbed 21 flights of stairs, which is a lot for me. I wanted to see good numbers when I got home and the end of the day and synced up to the website, and I did. I already tried a regular pedometer and it was unreliable; sometimes it just turned itself off for no reason. It also had no capacity to upload to a website that would log my data and show me charts and all that, which the Fitbit does. The Fitbit One has an altimeter that checks how many stairs you've climbed and also tracks your sleep. It's great.
A few days ago I was kind of dragging in the morning, getting ready to get on the treadmill, and I turned on my Fitbit for a minute. It said, "Vamose, Carrie." I loved that.
I've had a fitbit for a year now and love it. It reminds me to be active on days that I'm not doing very much and makes me feel like I've accomplished something on days I've been very active. I love that it talks to sp now and makes tracking exercise even easier. I can't wait until they start selling the bracelet. I want that one desperately!

Fitbit is an excellent device to help you get closer to your goals. It's almost psychological...it's said that you should be walking 10,000 steps/day, so this device is the perfect way to help you stay on track. You'll find that wanting to challenge yourself is a daily thing, and you'll be amazed about how many calories you burn a day just walking around. The new Fitbit ONE even tracks sleep patterns, quality of sleep, etc.
I am really loving mine. It has seriously pushed me into moving more and more. And by the time I get home in the evenings if my steps are what I want them to be I am walking more just to prove to myself I can do it and get them up. Its funny how competitive we can get over such simple things.
Love, love, love, my fitbit! Cannot say enough good about it - the feed back is amazing and I love that it syncs with SparkPeople because I only have to track my food and exercise once. Have been thinking about purchasing the scale - anyone have thoughts on that?

i can't say enough good things about the Fitbit. I adore mine!
I got the first gen fit it years again, loved it, and lost it because I used to keep it on my waist. My husband got me the new one for Christmas along with the sale, and I am so excited to have it again. I love that it communicates with sparkpeople, makes fitness logging easy and fun. I highly recommend getting one!

I bought one a week ago and love it. It makes you think about walking a different path to get more steps in and it is accurate! I would highly recommend it!!

My hubby just bought me one and I love it. I think doing the gidgy gadget thing helps me stay on track. Just be careful that it doesn't pop off when you need to use the rest room...almost lost mine the other day (clipping it to waist band of pants) You can clip it inside your bra but I am trying to view its accuracy initially and it is hard to do that when it is clipped there. It does talk to SP but you do have to sync it everyday on your SP fitness page...no big deal just hit sync in the area where it says fitbit steps for today.
They are going to come up with a bracelet you can wear 24 hours a day soon. It lights up according to how well you are meeting your daily goals. It stays on when you sleep where currently it is hard to keep in place if you are a restless sleeper.

I got one as a Christmas gift, but unfortunately it was defective from the start (just my luck, haha). They are sending me a new one right now, but I was looking at them before Christmas and they seem great. I was attracted to the One because it also tracks some other stuff. I haven't really seen many negative reviews. If you get one, hopefully you like it. I hope I like mine!

I love mine. It's nice that it talks to SP. It's fun to see just how much a little extra pushing really adds to the numbers. I've worn mine everyday for the last 3 months. I's almost be lost without it now.
I've seen a lot of advertisements for fitbits lately and have been looking at the device and what it does. I saw that it can be linked to spark and figured that might be a nod in the right direction as I usually trust things associated with this site.
Has anyone purchased one and used it to measure your steps, stairs, workouts, sleep, etc? Do you find it adds anything to your life you were missing?
