Hi! This is my first message in Sparkppl.

Long story short, I'm a father and husband and two weeks ago I had a wake-up call that got me really scared. So scared I event went to the cardiologist (I'm the stubborn, can-take-everything type of guy that never pays a visit to the dr.). Fortunately nothing was really wrong this time, but I really need to loose 80 pounds or net time it can be for real.

So I found Sparkppl, read a lot, changed the way I ate, tracked all my food, started taking Alli (Dr's presctiption), and got a great nutriologist to coach me.

Weigh-in week 1 today, 8.8 pounds lost, 90% fat pounds. emoticon

The experiences, secrets, tools, and success stories in this community have been inspirational!

This time I'll sin this fight!
