Wow! Congratulations on the great weight loss! It is not easy to continue losing at that pace. The only thing that keeps me going is interacting with friends here at sparkpeople. It took me 5 years to lose 25 lbs. But now that it is gone I feel I can do better. In the process people have taught me how to base my menus on vegetables. I always did water exercises but now I am retired so I can go more often. I am finally starting to really see results. I am a caregiver to my husband. That ties me down but sparking keeps my spirit up. I also get ideas about my health issues and get tons of recipes. I never liked coking but finally I am actually cutting up veggies and making sauces and cooking real meals--a last sometimes. I sure have a ways to go. Good luck. Keep sparking. This is the best website ever for support and sharing and gaining knowledge! emoticon chris

GOAL: Reduce A1C,BP,tryglicerides,and weight. HOW? By not eating added sugar, using Omega3s, base meals on veggies, water aerobics at least 3X week and using NuStep when I can't get to the pool.

The best way for me to stay active and motivated is by joining teams with active challenges. Good luck on your journey and don't give up, you can do this, remember YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!

First time on message board, but have been with Sparkpeople for over a year! I lost 50 pounds over a year ago, but have sat at 2 pounds for a year. I get motivated for a little while and then give up, then start again. How do I stay motivated all the time?
