I'm afraid I'd have to be chased by zombies before I could run a whole 5K. You're doing great! Keep up the good work. emoticon

emoticon on your first 5K! Isn't it an awesome feeling? I got the bug about six years ago and did several. I haven't done one in a few years and I'm thinking about getting back into it.

Oh my goodness... a zombie run?! That sounds like so much fun! Great job getting into running, by the way. I, too, am doing the couch to 5k program and I'm slowly learning to run. It's a great feeling! :)

From a small spark a raging fire can grow if given the right ingredients. i am sure in time you will be able to run a full 5K but until then enter every race you can and run/walk your way to success

I never thought I'd get into running, but yesterday two of my best friends and I ran/walked our first 5k! I pushed myself harder than I thought I could, and I'm so proud of my progress.

This 5k was a zombie run, where people dress as zombies and chase you, so it really got the adrenaline going!! So much fun.

Now I'm ready to do another--zombies or no zombies, I want to get back out there again. I've been doing the couch to 5k training program, and the day I can run the whole 5k will be an exciting day indeed.
