Hi. I have been at this for a while now and was feeling a little discouraged. I got in a good routine and then got the flu.. then a cold. You get the idea. But when I feel ok I do really good. My kids didn't think my 1 mile walk twice a day was going to work even though I never did anything before and I really was getting down. Anyway, 2 things have happened in the last few days. First on Friday I did my ab crunches, which I was beginning to think were pointless, when lo and behold.. I felt the burn. I am actually looking forward to doing them now just to feel the burn. Crazy right? The second thing came Sunday. We had a get together to go to and I went to get dressed. I pulled out a pair of jeans that were a little too tight a few weeks ago and I needed a belt. A small thing only I probably noticed, but it felt pretty good. This has been one of the hardest things I have ever done but with Sparkpeople and the message boards to go to I think I will make my goal eventually. So thanks! To all of you!!
