Welcome back!!! Listen it's going to be hard and we find it hard to commit, but w/ support it can be done. Believe me, last year January I was 301 and I'm now down 245. Joined Spark People a while ago after significant weight gain due, in part, to a stressful life event. Comfort eating got....comfortable. And way too familiar. I wasn't ready to be healthy, clearly. 25 MORE pounds gained later, here I am. I'm off to a great start on my own but it's not tough to see a lack of motivation in my near future if I don't connect with some other folks in shoes similar to mine.

I am a 37 married mother of two and I want to be healthy and active and alive for my family, and for myself. Pounds aside, my big goal is to be able to wear a bathing suit without shame next summer...realistic or no??

Welcoming any tips, non-hateful criticisms and some good old camaraderie!
