I tried Lyrica, but I didn't like the way it made me feel. I have taken Celebrex, but I lost my Blue Cross and Humana Medicare doesn't pay for it. I hope it goes generic soon. I used to take hot baths--don't know why I stopped. Thanks for reminding me! (Duh!) I have had a knee replacement, and cycling is very painful for me, although I love to ride my bike. I really enjoy walking, too. I will check out those teams. Thanks. Have a great evening! emoticon

I have both osteo and FM and find yoga and cycling help me alot. Without exercise I have a lot more pain.

As for meds, I take celebrex once in a while for my Osteo and for my FM I take Lyrica and Amitripyline. I have a nice warm bath everynight before bed also and this really helps sooths the sore muscles and joints.

There are 2 good teams on this site for arthritis and one for fibromyalgia also.

Both of these conditions take alot of daily management!

If you have fibro and/or arthritis, which exercises besides stretching and walking do you think help? What meds help? What else helps/hurts. emoticon
