I think it could be a combination of the two. My advice is always to adopt a style of eating that you can maintain for the rest of your life. That's the best way to help you lose weight and keep it off.
Carbs are a healthy and important part of your diet. You just want to be sure they are coming from healthy sources (like whole grains) whenever possible. So I'd recommend getting closer to your SP suggested range for carbs (as well as fats and proteins.)
Hope that helps,

Hi, I've been feeling really under the weather and weak for about 10 days - only just started going out walking again yesterday after a week off because of it.
Anyway I was wondering if this could have anything to do with the fact that I've lowered my carbs lately (probably just around the time I started feeling rough). I'm not on a strict low carb diet though - 100 per day (usually from veg, brown rice and sweet potato) & I'm no even that strict so I didn't think that would be too bad ??
I do have a bad back which causes pain -which of course tires you out, so perhaps it's just that ??
All advice welcome. Thanks

If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me. I will be found by you," says the LORD. "I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and bring you home again to your own land."
