Thank you everyone. I feel a little better today but not much. Reading your replies and suggestions was very helpful. Thank you. I know that this is a long road to get myself healthy and it is amazing how the smallest things are affecting me lately. I am not sure what set me off yesterday that got me so depressed but I am thankful that today is a little better and I am glad I hit the button. Maybe just asking for help is what I needed. Thanks for reading my blogs..sorry if they were boring.
I do love crocheting and after talking to a lady at church today and a few one here as well as your comments I know that I just need to find a new pattern and pretty yarn and get to work on something. I shouldn't waste my talents.

I read through some of your recent blogs too and I suspect that some of your depression may also be related to the problems you've been having with your foot. Because you can't get in your daily walk without pain, that's left you housebound. Being stuck in the house in pain would cause anyone to become depressed.
I know that crocheting doesn't get the house cleaned as you mentioned in your blog. BUT, crocheting does help lift your spirits. And that's exactly what you need right, something to lift your spirits while your foot heals.
Don't beat yourself up because you can't always walk every day. I give all new members one piece of advice and it's this,"Don't look at good health or weight loss with an all or nothing mentality". If the only healthy thing you did for yourself today was drink 8 glasses of water, that's still a step in the right direction.
If you can't do any lower power exercises because of your foot, then do some upper body exercises inside. Coach Nicole even has a couple of workouts you can do while sitting in a chair.
There are other chair workouts listed that you could try. So, even though you might not be able to walk, you can still get in some regular exercise. This may not seem like a lot, but it really IS something you can do to remain active while your foot heals.
And I definitely I'm going to encourage you to continue crocheting. I'm a firm believer that stress is a neglected aspect of weight gain. If a person could reduce their stress they'd automatically reduce their waistline. Doing something you enjoy is a way to reduce your stress and maybe it'll help reduce some of your depression too.

I read your blogs, and suspect that perhaps one of the main problems is you having run out of a certain medication. Have you been able to get some more?
That is something I keep a VERY close eye on - I usually renew when I have at least a couple weeks worth left. If your moods continue to be low, then perhaps you may need to talk with your Dr about a medication review.

Some days are just off days. Is there anything you could do that you might enjoy? Go for coffee with a friend, go shopping, play a game, or get a movie to watch? Maybe take a nap.
When I feel like that, I will try to spend some time outside, or do something nice for myself- get a pedicure (when I can afford it), or go to the bookstore (even if I do not buy anything), or take time to get outside and walk around, go to the park, etc.
I never thought that I would use this board, but I am just really down in the dumps today. I just feel so sad and depressed. I have been blogging here about it and the comments help but I just feel like I need a little extra pick me up. I can't seem to find joy in anything today. Anyone got any ideas?
